Waste Switch Ltd & REHIS – Business Waste Disposal Employee Training Course
Available as either an on or offsite, presented or E learning entry level staff training course, accredited by the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland aimed at all employees in Scotland, providing a working understanding and awareness of the relevant waste management regulations and legislation that they must adhere to.
It provides practical and demonstrated guidance and recommendations on how to successfully implement the learnings within the leaner’s place of work and makes it clear to them that every employee action is vital in relation to ensuring compliance.
The course focuses strongly on providing detailed information, guidance and worked examples so that the learner understands the significant reductions in both the companies Carbon Footprint and how they can reduce the C02 output if the correct recycling procedures are in place. We also provide access to a C02 Reduction reporting tool for those who would benefit from accessing and producing additional detailed reports.

- The Duty of Care Code legislations
- The Local Authority requirements
- How to reduce your Carbon Footprint and C02 production by Recycling
- How to embed and integrate the regulation and legislation within the workplace
- Consequences for non-compliance
- Business Specific Module (This is part of the course where we bespoke the module to include specific areas that the business would wish to be included)
- Multiple Choice Assessment
